Analytical cookies
We (CaseWare Belgium & Luxembourg) use analytical cookies in order to analyse the use of our Website. Analytical cookies provide CaseWare with information about the use of and navigation within the Website. This information helps CaseWare to improve the layout of the Website, to tailor it to the needs of its users, to analyse trends and to improve navigation within the Website. CaseWare uses Google Analytics and Hubspot to analyse the Website. We use the privacy-friendly settings of Google Analytics as set out in the guidelines of the Dutch Data Protection Authority. Furthermore, Google is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield, which ensures that an appropriate level of data protection is maintained when Google processes personal data in the United States. The data collected by using these analytical cookies are transferred to Google Analytics so it can analyse the use of our website. Google presents its results in an anonymised format.

Optional cookies
Google Doubleclick
On our Website, we (CaseWare Belgium & Luxembourg) ask your permission to use Google Doubleclick. This cookie records the actions you, the user of the Website, have taken after you have watched an advertisement or clicked on an advertisement. The purpose of this cookie is to measure the effectiveness of an advertisement and to be able to show you targeted advertisements instead of random advertisements that you may not find very interesting. Hubspot
On our Website, we (CaseWare Belgium & Luxembourg) also ask for your consent to the use of optional cookies from Hubspot. These cookies transfer data about the device you are using and your browsing behaviour on the Website to Hubspot's marketing platform. These data are stored either for the duration of the session or for a maximum of 13 months. Purpose of and basis for processing
CaseWare Belgium & Luxembourg processes your personal data obtained from functional and analytical cookies primarily to show you information about our services and products on our Website (including YouTube videos about our services and products) and to optimise your navigation within the Website. In addition, we process your personal data obtained from optional cookies in order to store the user preferences you have given us - beyond the duration of the session - so that you do not have to indicate the same preferences again on your next visit (e.g. language preferences). Transferring personal data
CaseWare Belgium & Luxembourg shares your data with the third parties listed below. Our data processors may only process the data we instruct them to process. These processors have agreed that they will process the data according to our instructions and in accordance with this privacy statement.

CaseWare Belgium & Luxembourg transfers your personal data to two processors located outside the EU/EEA: Hubspot and Google. Hubspot and Google are based in the United States and are both Privacy Shield certified. This guarantees an appropriate level of protection of your personal data. CaseWare Belgium & Luxembourg will pass on your personal data to the courts, regulators or other official authorities if we receive a lawful request to do so and if and to the extent that we believe in good faith that disclosing, processing, using or providing the data requested is necessary to comply with any legislation and regulations, is necessary for legal proceedings or necessary to comply with an enforceable request from the relevant official body.

In the event that CaseWare Belgium & Luxembourg is taken over, merges with another company or sells (some of) its assets, we will transfer the processing of your personal data to the company that takes us over, with which we merge, or to which (some of) our assets are sold.. We believe that we have a legitimate basis for providing your personal data to such a company for these purposes. If any of these circumstances occurs, you have the right to object.

CaseWare Belgium & Luxembourg takes appropriate measures to prevent any misuse, loss, unauthorised access and unwanted disclosure, including logging into CRM systems using multi-factor authentication and storing physical data carriers in a safe.

Subscribing to our newsletter
You can subscribe to our newsletter via our Website. If you have given us your consent to send you our newsletter, we will register the email address and the name you give us and use it to send the newsletter to you. The personal data will be kept until the person has unsubscribed from the newsletter. We will regularly ask you if you are still interested in receiving the newsletter.
