A new version of Working Papers is released every year
When a new version is released, you can follow these steps to upgrade your Working Papers to the new version.
In this article we will be installing version 2024.00.164.06, but the latest version will be communicated through email when it is released!
- Download the upgrade files
- Upgrade Working Papers
- Check version of Working Papers
- Upgrade the Connector
Download the Installation Files
- Navigate to https://corp.filesanywhere.com/PRAGMATOOLS/ and login with the credentials that were shared with you.
If you forgot your password or username, you can easily recover it by clicking on
forgot password? at the bottom of the login page
- Download the installation file for the newest version of the Caseware Connector
- Download the installation file for the newest version of Working Papers containing the installation file
Start the Upgrading process of Working Papers
- Go to your Downloads Folder and unzip the Working Papers installation file you installed in the first step
- Then navigate to the subfolder BelgiumProtSyncx64, where you will find the following file:
- Executing setup will start the upgrade to the
new Working Papers version - During the upgrade process you will see multiple windows
You can click 'Next' on these steps to complete the setup - Finally you will see the following window where you will need to select install which will start the upgrade of the new version
- After the installation is complete, you may select Finish
Check the Working Papers version
To make sure the correct version was installed, we can can check the version in Working Papers
- Open Working Papers and navigate to Help
Here you will find the Current Version which should match the version you upgraded to
If the version doesn't match, please try the upgrading steps again or contact our Support Team!
Start the Upgrade process of the Connector
- Use the Windows Search Bar to go to Installed Apps
- Search for the CaseWare Connector App and uninstall the old version using the extra options
- Go to your Downloads Folder and unzip the Connector installation file you installed in the first step and execute ConnectorSetup
- During the upgrade process you will see multiple windows
You can click 'Next' on these steps to complete the setup - Finally you will see the following window where you will need to select the latest version and then click on install which will start the upgrade of the new version
- After the installation is complete, you may select Finish
